Shipping & Handling
Orders placed on a business day will be shipped within 48 hours of receipt. All orders received after 1pm on Friday will be shipped the following Tuesday.
Please note that your order will only be shipped once payment and delivery details have been approved. Order cut-off times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by address or payment verification. Upon the completion of your order, you will receive an email confirmation. All shipments are insured for the value of the merchandise. Make sure to double check your billing and shipping address when placing an order. Lief Huis is unable to reroute packages. Availability of products is not guaranteed. If you have ordered an item that is not available or that is delayed, we will notify you via email or telephone. All orders will be declared at full purchase value. Prices displayed on the website are exclusive of taxes and are added where applicable by law. Shipments within Ontario will be charged HST 13%. Shipments to BC will be charged HST 12%. Shipments within Canada outside of Ontario & BC will be charged the PST of that province + GST 5%. Shipments outside of Canada are not required to pay any Canadian taxes. If client is shipping to a destination outside Canada tax, customs and import duties will be levied by the client’s local government in additional to all shipping costs. All additional taxes and fees are the responsibility of the client. Items will be shipped from Toronto, Ontario, Canada with an official invoice declaring the exact total of merchandise. Lief Huis is not able to cancel orders once they have been placed. Refused packages are subject to a 20.00 shipping/restocking fee. We are glad to exchange any full price, unused, unwashed merchandise within 7 days upon receiving the merchandise. All items that are returned for an exchange or refund must be unused and have their original tags and packaging. All sales final on sale merchandise. The buyer is responsible for any return shipping costs including any additional shipping fees (duties & customs brokerage etc). To process a return please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a return authorization number. The return authorization # must be written on the outside of the box or goods will not be accepted at time of delivery. Your return will not be excepted without a return authorization issued by Lief Huis. Your return will be processed as soon as possible but allow up to 14 days for your refund to be processed and up to two billing cycles for the return to appear on your credit card statement. We hold the right to deny refunds if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements. Lief Huis will not refund international duties and taxes.
